EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS

Our society organizes monthly education meetings in Ankara. In addition, by making collaboration with the universities, education meetings was held in several districts of our country (Aydın, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Edirne, Elazığ, Eskişehir, Isparta, Kütahya, Sinop, Tokat, Trabzon) and in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

About Turkish Society of Hypertension and Renal Diseases
Turkish Society of Hypertension and Renal Diseases was founded in 1995 in Ankara by Dr. Şali ÇAĞLAR, Dr. Neval DUMAN, Dr. Enver HASANOĞLU, Dr. Ümit SAATÇİ, Dr. Şükrü SİNDEL, Dr. Saniye ŞEN and Dr. Ünal YASAVUL. Main purposes of the society is to fight against hypertension, renal diseases and their adverse effects and to determine the facts in our country, perform studies and attempts which will contribute to universal science, public health and the economy in our country.

Our society which was accepted to membership of "World Hypertension League" in 2006 and "World Action on Salt and Health" in 2007, and has been carrying out "World Hypertension Day" activities since 2006. Also "World Salt Awareness Week" was released to public for the first time in our country in 2008 via our Society.
